- The Blue Mountains are special because they contain the Wollemi Pine, an ancient, relict species of global significance.
- They also have the Three Sisters, which are particularly special to Indigenous Australians as they are part of a tale of love between three sisters who were turned to stone to keep them safe from harm.
Why did you choose this site?
I like the Blue Mountains because I have been there lots of times.
